It’s gorgeous no matter what the season in Georgia. Also, most wedding photographers in Atlanta are very familiar with it. Going at off peak times is perfect so that there are fewer people around. Wine always makes celebrations more fun and shooting either during summer or fall when the vines are in season is the perfect backdrop for your engagement photos. The beauty about North Georgia Wineries is that you get that feeling of being in California or French wine country all while never leaving Georgia. The drive is not far and most Atlanta wedding photographers have made the trip before. Montaluce has an authentic feeling to it  and the architecture of the building makes you feel like you're in Napa or Soma. Wolf Mountain Winery and Chateau Elan are other fantastic wineries to visit.

Roswell has a variety of engagement photo locations for all wedding couples. It's a perfect location for those who live north of the perimeter and don’t want to make the journey down to Atlanta for your engagement shoot. Some of the best spots are Garrard Landing Park, Roswell Mill, and Downtown Roswell where there are tons of cute restaurants and bars. At Roswell Mill, the covered bridge, waterfall area and other spots with rushing water are great places to capture some memorable photos. It can get crowded so you may have to wait a bit to shoot at the more scenic areas. Most Atlanta wedding photographers will know the best time to shoot to avoid a crowd. If you need a pick me up before or after your shoot, be sure to visit Crazy Love or Land of a Thousand Hills coffee shops for some of the local favorite spots.
